Default "PD" instead of "of" with Pearl SureType

Please Login to Remove!

This is nothing major, but an irritating nuisance.

When using SureType, the word "of" seems to always default to "PD". I edited my custom wordlist to remove any entries starting with pd, but no matter what I can't type the word "of" without scrolling through the dropdown list.

Any simple solutions ?

Supposedly the SureType keyboard will learn it as your default if you type it and enter to accept it (of) three times a row.

It was doing this to me for awhile insisting on 'UT' instead of 'it.' I swear I had selected 'it' a million times and have no reason to have ever written 'UT' in the first place. Eventually I gave up and entered 'it' into the "AutoText" entry for 'UT.' Thus, whenever SureType went off the deep end, it would correct itself.

Yes, type of (correct it) three times. It''ll change to "of" instead of "pd".

EXCELLENT!!! I guess I didn't "correct" it enough. (I stare at the keypad when typing and then don't realize I got PD until I'm rereading before SENDing.)

Thanks for helping solve this issue
