I downloaded this app serveral times to my Bold and it hasnt ever worked yet...I have my profile at normal and its all set to tone, not tone + vib and in teh buzz me app i have enabled the service. Anything im missing? Would really like for this to work.

Meyefull, if Buzz Me isn't working for you, you can try getting BBLight 1.95 as it has built in, customizable vibrate while ring options

I downloaded this and it still vibrates then rings. I mostly use the "Loud" profile. Do I need to keep it on a specific one or do I need to change something within the profile?

Nevermind. I did read that there will eventually be an update for this app, who knows when, but that it only works for a certain profile and it only works on the phone ringing aspect of the BB. Any suggestions on a more advanced app that does all the alerts? I saw something about a BBLight?

Yes. If you're willing to jump through a few hoops and customize, BBLight is better. You'll have to google for directions, though.

I just don't get it...I downloaded the app from the BB App World yesterday and I cannot get it to work on my 8330. I have out of holster and in holster set to Tone. The app itself is set to Enable Vibration. I am using a custom ring tone in my profile (would that make a difference?). ANyway, my phone rings but doesn't vibrate. I did a battery pull also. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Just DL'ed. It works just fine with a "created" profile that contains downloaded rings for just the phone. As stated in "help" on the app, doesn't vibe emails, etc. LOVE the app though.

a new version of this app is now available on the various Blackberry stores.

its now got an interface, and there is a "pro" version that adds messages, and emails to the choices - as well as vibration times - and a "facedown" silent mode for the Storm

I wonder if this version fixes the bug where phone vibrates even when phone profile set to OFF

nope - plus the phone vibrates even after the missed call!

I noticed that after the update 1.1.0 for the BuzzMe , when the phone gets restarted, the vibration does not work. And you have to switch off the application, and then switch on again to work properly... until the next... reboot!

A few tips

1) Yes you need the profile to be Normal or Phone (well anything other than Loud)
2)go to the PROFILE make sure that the OUT OF HOLTER is set to TONE
3)also be sure that the app is running in the background - only press the red button to go back to your blackberry - dont quit the app.

Just to add - the developer says auto-restart on battery pull/reboot coming will be in the Pro version available probably end May - look for that on Appworld and Mobihand stores.
