Have you successfully made any voice calls? I have had issues with my mic in the past. Did you purchase the device off of eBay or another auction site? I ended up purchasing an additional 870X for parts when my mic went bad. The replacement procedure is fairly easy, however there are only two leads on the mic so you must be careful when you handle it.
