Question How to transfer BB7 Contacts to a BB10 device (Work Space mode)?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

It seems like we are unable to transfer Contacts from a BB7 to a BB10 (activated in Work Space mode in BES10 server). We are able to transfer Contacts from a BB7 to a BB10 (activated in Balance mode in BES10 server).

Is it because of this is a restriction for a BB10 in Work Space mode? Has anybody encountered this issue and got a workaround? Is there a way to export a BB7 Contacts and import into a BB10 (Work Space mode)?

Thanks.

Default Re: How to transfer BB7 Contacts to a BB10 device (Work Space mode)?

where are the contacts located in the device or which contact database?

I think it is device contacts and they are not sync to mailbox.
I had a user years ago that did this and we did a manual sync to outlook and then imported into contacts fodler
