The version doesn't need the desktop service to be running and your PC
with Skype to be turned on. All you need to start calling with IM+ for
Skype Software is your Skype account and SkypeOut credits.

Should I uninstall the previous version?

To install beta just download it to your device without un-installation current version of IM+ for Skype Software. Since for using beta version you don't need the PC running, un-installation of the desktop service is not required.

I am going to try it now, hope it is more successful than the service with the desktop client which was a mess for me.

I ran the auto-configure and it came up with a viable connection. I logged in okay, and even placed a test call fine, but I have tried several different phone numbers with no luck. It calls my cell phone back fine, and then there is no connection on the other end, I even waited for 2 minutes with basically a "dead" line. Any ideas?

Edit: what's worse is I just noticed it took money off my skypeout balance but I never got to talk to anyone, really not happy now.

2.i can ask for support or sent feedback from device get error massage
3.its not fully equiped becouse i cant speak with other skype user only to add money and then

Thanks for your feedback! The application calls back to your number via SkypeOut that is why charging took place. In the next version we will give an option to choose to which number call first to place on hold and to which second.

The app won't start, says I have too many apps on device.

Thanks but you didn't answer my question why my call doesn't go through. I checked with one of the people I tried it with and their phone rang but they could hear nothing. I understand why it charged me for calling my cell phone number but why did the call not connect properly to the other party? Thanks.

I installed it and connected it succefully. But I could not call anyone. Whenever I used Sky-out, it showed transaction error and asked me to restart it. What's the problem about that?? My BB is 8707V

Tried the new OTA on my 8700g. Showed two icons, both wouldn't launch ("Too many apps on device"). Tried battery pull. Both icons dissappeared, but app showed on Advanced Options. What's up, Shape services?
