Question Outlook Calendar no longer Syncing to BB 8900

Please Login to Remove!

I have two email accounts on my BB and both calendars were syncing fine. I also had Facebook app installed. I did not want to use the facebook calendar which came up as the first calendar and was tired of deleting the CICAL file for Facebook so I deleted the Facebook App. Now all my calendar appts and events disappeared from the BB and I cannot get Outlook to put them back.

Using BB 8900, Outlook 2007, Desktop Manager, no BES.

I checked the sync settings and have it to go one way Outlook to Device.
There are no CICAL files at all in my Service Book now.

Help, please.

resend your service books from your carriers BIS page.
this will give you a CICAL entry for your email address and it should starting syncing.

HAd a similar problem but with only 1 calendar.
Somehow the BB created a second calendar and moved all the appointments to that calendar which did not sync with Outlook
After many hours the following solved my problem
Make a backup of your phone just in case
make a backup of your pst files in outlook
Wipe your phone completely options ->security options->general settings->menu ->wipe handheld
This wipes out your handheld device
now restore the backup but disable the claendar backup in the options section on desktop manager - your BB should be back to normal but no calendars
Now set up your sync manager for a one way sync from outlook to the BB
This should reinstate your calendar
If you are happy do another backup (new name for safety)
Then do a two way sync and there should be no changes
Hopefully this will help you - took me about 8 hours to get this right
Hope it works for the multiple calendars though as i only had 1 calendar

BIS page is where you setup email!
https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=vzw
Go here, enter your username and password.
(If you have setup email before on the device, you will have to go back to email settings on the device and go through the process in order to create a username)

then go to the part that says "resend service books" on the left hand side of the page.
click resend service books on the right hand side of the page.
done.

Thumbs down resend service books

when I go to that link and type in PIN and Device ESN, I get the error message "device not accessible from HTML browser. Please use your device to access Blackberry internet service."

now what?

Also, each time I restart the BB, I now get asked for certifcate key -- i type it in and it then asks for old key from April 23, 2009. If I plug in w/ BB Desktop 4.7 running, that seems to handle it automatically, but if I'm not at home and had to do it, I'd be in trouble. any thoughts?
