If I recall correctly - if you go to the site in the BOLT browser - it will give you the option to "Play" Video or "Download" video.

Have not messed with the Opera Browser in a long time so maybe someone else will jump in with alternate information?

There are a number of .flv (Flash Video) converters that can download directly from Youtube to your PC. I use Free FLV Converter V 6.5.0 which does a pretty nice job.
If you want to download directly to your BB...well, can't help you.
You do need to convert from .flv to another format (I use .avi, but that might not be the best) since the Bold cannot play .flv files.

After downloaded and converted, use the BB Desktop Manager to get the vids on your BB. I suggest you let the BB convert for optimal playback, but that's up to you.

I'm a new BB owner and I must admit, I am amazed by the sound quality if you use a decent pair of head phones.

BTW, I downloaded and installed Bolt on my Bold. You can stream Youtube, but it doesn't appear you can download. Too bad, the streamed sound quality isn't too good...but I'm just starting to see how it works now.

Thanks for the info. Yah, I was looking for an easy way to just download videos from the web directly to the blackberry. I have played with those video converters and always get stuck or get an error. I was just looking for an easy way to get them on the go. Thanks anyways.

I tested out the newest version of Bolt a couple of days ago, it gives you the option to 'open' or 'save' the YouTube video. The file was saved to the phone in .3gp format; I think they also restrict it to just a small clip if the length of the video is too large.

Most of the time this website has the same videos I would find on YouTube and will allow you to download them.
