First thing, you should do a hard reboot!!!
after how many application have you in background?
Are you sure when you leave an application, it really close?

.822 suffers from severe memory leaks, until a new OS build is out i would suggest rolling back to .681

If you feel comfortable installing a fresh OS on your device, I'd highly recommend you consider trying out one of Willboy's hybrid OS installs from Driphter.com. The can be found here.. He has a public one out now that is v7.3 that is rock solid and very quick. The installation process has "Shrink-A-OS" built into it so that you can pull out all of the crap you never use anyway. When I installed it I ended up with over 40MB of free app space after using the Shrink tool..

Also, if you're interested you can also become a VIP member and get access to the v8 build, which I'm running right now and has some of the best memory management I've ever seen. Or you can hang on a little while longer and v8 will be released to the public eventually as well. If you're a VIP member you get access to the builds quicker.

Let me know if you have any questions. I have a company BB with BES integration and such and these hybrid builds have been rock solid and working like a champ for me. Willyboy does a great job on these things!

Hope this helps!
