Is there a 3rd party app that lets you change the colour of the email/message/missed call light?

IE Green for sms
Red for email etc?

Moving to the Aftermarket Software section.

There are several apps that will do this. I've used BerryBuzz and was pretty happy with it. You can get it at the BlackBerryAPPS Store:

berrybuzz, colorID, alertmatrix I've heard are good --bbalerts (mixed iffyness).

I myself use alertmax which can be configured by domain..messaage contents, user/contact & type of communication (lacks bbm messaging alerts though).

berrybuzz iirc is the first to support bbm alerts.

not sure if anyone else has got this problem, but since installing BerryBuzz (as awesome as it is) my BlackBerry has had substantial performance problems when receiving messages/notifications.
Example being: while using Windows Live Messenger, when a message comes in there is a near 2 second wait before the message is displayed, noise is made, and the light flashes. And i don't recall that happening before. Also got similar with BB messenger and Text messages.
I'm assuming, at the moment, that BerryBuzz is at the root. Will re-post if uninstalling fixes it.
