Default Cant browse BBF in wap version

Please Login to Remove!

Whenever I browse wap.BBF site with my older BB7290, it wouldnt load the wap version but instead it brings up a full HTML page.
And today I just got a used 8707 and thought it would put my misery to an end but no and still loads a full HTML. Any suggestion?

Hi MrKyoo, I've deleted history as well as cache and type out the whole URL instead of using the bookmarked address and still didnt work.

Hi there ezrunner, I'm using the native BB browser. The problem is I cant use any other browsers because they will charge me differently.

go into your browser and open up browser configuration

browser: should be internet browser

scroll down to
emultion mode: (what do you have selected?) try different emulation modes to see if that helps/solves the problem

mine is set to blackberry

I think when you post wirelessly, it redirects you to Wi-site. However not on any of BB.

ezrunner, thats exactly what I did on both my BB8707 and E61.
I typed wap.blackberryforums.com.
E61 was able to post wirelessly on wap.blackberryforums.com but BB8707 loads BlackBerryForums.com : Your Number One BlackBerry Community and I cant do nothing on a www. page

ezrunner, I had the latest OS4.2 already so I'm thinking it would be the service provider. Funny thing is, I was able to load the wap version on my older 7290 in the beginning. God I love this site, but if it takes me 2 minutes to load a full HTML page, I have to give in. Thanks ezrunner.

I can't imagine they wouldn't let you use wap! That's uses less spectrum I think! Call and ask

Let us know what you find out!

You are quite welcome

My question--can you get to any other wap site?
Try wap.ebay.com
and see if you get the wap version or full version.
