My boss has a new BB 8310 Curve. Almost everything is working perfectly except we can't seem to see the "other address" in his contacts (synched in with Outlook via BES). The "business address" is showing on the main screen, the "home address" can be found by going into Edit but nowhere can I find the "other address". It's really important because we enter a contact's physical address into this field (the PO Box adddress goes into the business address field).

Does anyone know how to find this address?

The is only fields for Business and Home address. An other address from Outlook wont sync because there is no corisponding field on the BlackBerry.

As a work around you can enter the other address in the notes sections of the contact on the BlackBerry. Sync that to Outlook and see what field it populates in Outlook. Adjust any remaining contacts in Outlook to have their other address information entered there.

Thanks Doug - that's pretty disappointing tho, my boss has about 5,000 contacts so that means a lot of work if all those addresses have to be put into notes. Is there any way to map a corresponding field on the BlackBerry so it picks these up? Or am I out of luck...

Yes, those fields can be mapped to user field or notes. I don't know BES, so i can't say how, I just do now it can be done, somehow in the mapping of fields in the configuration of your syncing.

I'm on the BES at work and although I've had numberous devices I have always had both business & home addresses show up for all my contacts that the data was entered.

I hope you can figure it out.
