Default Caller ID problems

Please Login to Remove!

I have inserted many numbers into my address book but half of the time the name doesn't show up on my caller ID. Is there a specific way i'm supposed to add the numbers? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Default An example would help

An example of the numbers that work and don't work would help. I have all my numbers entered using the international code since I travel a lot, +1 for US, +27 for South Africa, etc. and they all work fine on my 8700.

First you should store each phone number with the area code even if it's the same as your home area code. Then make sure you don't have duplicate entries, the phone might not distinguish between them.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Is your phone locked and encrypted? If you have content protection enabled, it will only show name when phone is locked.

Sure, go under Options->Security Options->General Settings. Turn content protection to Disabled.
