Dear Forum,

I have written a very simple application that performs an http connection:

My code line is the following:

httpConnector = (HttpConnection)Connector.open("www.google.com");

The first time I execute this code on my Blackberry device, the following message is displayed:

"Your application has requested a http connection to www.google.com."

Then, I click on the button "Allow this connection". When clicking on it, then my device hangs and is locked. I must force a reboot to retrieve my device.

The second time the code is executed, it works properly.

Is it a defect? Do you know if I can workaround?

I use JDE 4.3.0.93 on Blackberry 8110.

is your connection code executed in a separate thread?

You are right: it works perfectly with an invokeLater separate thread.
