Default New Storm owner... some advice please?

Please Login to Remove!

So I am sitting at my desk waiting for the front desk to IM me to let me know fedex just delivered my Storm. While waiting for the new phone, I was scouring on here for some info about the Storm.

I currently have a pearl and am very much looking forward to the storm.

So all you expert users out there, what are some of the basic things that should be done to make my phone into the beast I know it can be???

I see the keyboard settings in the sticky posts, but what else do you guys recommend?

Thanks in advance,
Ben

1. Upgrade the OS to the latest release available. See the yellow sticky note at the top of this Storm section.
2. Set your keyboard for easier use. See the yellow sticky note at the top of this Storm section.
3. Get QuickPull, and MeterBerry for your Storm.
4. Enjoy the GREAT screen, and be patient with all else.

Excellent advice from JSanders! I too just recently went from the Pearl to Storm and am loving it so far. The only other tip/trick I might add is the business card/paper behind the battery. Upon receiving my storm I noticed the corners of my surepress screen were not so sure. Placed half a business card behind battery and noticed an improved response. still not as "clicky" as the center of the screen but better than before.
