Hi folks

I have been using the new 9100 for weeks now.
its nice.

However it did not come with a new case and it doesnt lock when put in the old case.
Also the old charging cradle i had (and loved) no longer works with the new unit.

My local bell store does not stock either item yet.

Has anyone heard or seen either product in your areas?

Thanks for noting that. I had a 7100 with the drop in holster. It was great instead of the ones with the flip tops. You could slip the phone in and out without any effort. I cut it down to fit the Pearl 8100. It worked perfect on that. I see it is not working for the 9100. Any idea on where the magnet is on the 9100 or is there something else at work on this model?

does the 91xx have the charging connectors for use with cradles?

i now have the real case for the 9100. the leather has a diff (than previous) look to it,(not as shiny and smooth) and the clasp is not as good.
Also unless you use a password , the case does not lock the unit. this is a pain for me- several accidental calls, meaning i now am forced to use a password to lock it.

On another note i now have 2 screen sheilds from ishields and neither fir the screen (order # 03161). i have been discussing it with them this week.

otherwise i love the 9100

the previous poster asked about ports for charging- i dont see any and as of yet have not been able to find a charging cradle.
