Question Bold LCD replacement

Please Login to Remove!

The corner of my LCD got chipped a little from a satanic dog that I'd like to strangle. The LCD works fine but hate seeing my Bold hurt

I read, remove the LCD to find the code so you know which LCD to order. I removed the LCD and this was the only thing on the back.........VA090123PDM2. I was thinking there would be a 001/003 or whatever code for the LCD part. In the code I listed, what LCD do I need?

Thanks!!!

Blackberry BOLD 9000 Replacement LCD screen 001/004 on eBay (end time 17-Aug-09 10:12:58 BST)

Sounds like it could be a 002/004 if only that number is in the middle of the back but you can double check on this link.

Oh wow you are right, sorry it was up when I posted it a few minutes ago. If all you see on the back of the lcd is that serial number in a narrow rectangular box in the middle of the screen then look down below at the metal area along the bottom of the screen and you should see numbers etched in the metal (they are hard to see). It will say 002/004.

If it was 001/004 or 003/004 that would be clearly printed within a bigger box on the back of the lcd.
