Yes, the 8120 will ship with 4.3.0 and will likely get it's own download entry there when it becomes available. For the 4.3.1, Q1 2008 sounds about right as far as what I've heard.
I stopped by a T-Mobile store the other day and asked if they would be getting the 8120 anytime soon. They did not know but said that new promotions were scheduled for the first week of December. I am hoping the 8120 and $9.99 H@H plan is included.
Doesn't the same firmware build work on several GSM variants of the 88XX, where the primary differences are usually GPS and WiFi? Video capturing seems more like a feature than a hardware difference, esp. since OS 4.3 is purported to add the feature to several older models of BlackBerry.
No. 8820 code does not run on an 8800. Or an 8830.
Code hasn't been shareable across devices since the 7210/30/80 series.
8100/8105 codes was shareable. Exceptions.
so this new BB 8120 sounds like its what the 8100 was suposed to be in the first place... well what i wanted, video capture... a mini SD card included... oh well beggers cant be choosers... oh and a spell check... i do like that option
