Angry 8520: Facebook for Blackberry still not working

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Everyone!

I am not good in English but I hope you'll understand my concern.

Ok, I bought my BB Curve 8520 a week ago,
wi-fi is working!
I first donwload facebook for BB (the icon is big "F")
It was successfully downloaded.

It wasn't warking! So I reinstalled it.
Still the same, not working!

I called my Service Provider, he told me to register first here:
https://bis.ap.blackberry.com/html?brand=smart

Success!

Now my problem is, I CAN'T STILL ACCESS the "facebook for blackberry"
(NOTE: When using the regular browser, no problem)

I want to access "Facebook for Blackberry"
so if I am using my BB updating my status on facebook
this will appear -> "via facebook for blackberry"

What happen is like this "via facebook mobile"
(because I am only using the regular browser)

My question is:
What should I do next after I successfully registered to the link given above
to make my FB for BB work?

Thanks for that educational and helpfull responce.

Ive had problems with facebook (The big F) on 8900 and 8520, it will install but it is ridiculously slow!!!! ive tried everywhere to see how to make it faster but by the looks of it its just really slow. Through Browser, its still slowish but its completely useable. My sister has the iphone and on there its fine never slow and can load pics up really quick. Its pointless using the BB facebook app to even attempt to look at pics.

hi, just wanted to ask how you fixed your problem regarding the 'via facebook for blackberry' thingy? i have downloaded the app myself and it gives me the error "could not connect because a data service is not available. Please try again later if this continues contact your service provider for support."

"could not connect because a data service is not available. Please try again later if this continues contact your service provider for support." I got the same msg when trying over wifi. Think you may have to have a connection to cell provider for it to work not sure just an observation.

I think, you must setup your wi-fi and synchronize it with your blackberry. I have the same problem at the beginning. but once you can sync it, save it, and you won't have the same problem anymore.

Why are you placing the term, "stront" with most of your posts all over the site?
