Default RSS feed reader?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi every body,

I am new in BB programming and I am going to write a programme to read the RSS. For this I read from the different threads, I need the viigo. So I installed this on simulated blackberry. After installing when I clicked on the viigo icon, then I got the following error.

"A problem occured when trying to create or access your account. There may be insufficient wireless coverage, or the server may be offline for maintenance. Please try again later. If the problem persists, please contact virtual reach support.(Error message could not find a service book entry for IPPP"

Please tell me the steps or way to wirte the rss reader programme.

Thanks
Kind regards

T

Viigo is an RSS reader application. You will need to go to the viigo web site to create an account; but perhaps you can do it from the application (on the blackberry). You will also need data service compatible with Viigo. The mobile network (EDGE, GPRS, etc) is sufficient. I don't know if should work in a simulator, whether it will work in wifi, etc.

Wirelessly posted (8700g)

Some applications will work with wifi, and some will not. That's what I meant. Viigo may need the network data, and not work on wifi. I don't know.

Did you understand that viigo is not a developer tool for writing RSS reader applications? It *is* an RSS reader.

I have read about the viigo. Viigo is rss reader application. Can I install on the simulator 4.3?
Should I write to code to read this rss feed? There is some confusions, please clear it.

ahmadgee, from your OP I gathered you are developing a RSS reader, but now I'm not sure I understand what you want to do.

FYI There are a several feed readers that will run on the blackberry. There is at least one internet reader (bloglines) that also has a mobile web version. And v. 4.2 and newer blackberry browsers will render some feeds.

If your question is simply What will run in the simulator? I can't help. But if that is not your question, then you need to restate it and maybe someone else can help. I don't think it is clear what you are asking.
