now THIS is what i call a discourse!!! and a funny one at that. i want to thank everyone for the respective theories they are just as beautifully speculative as mine.

quite a departure from all the sour puss know-it-alls (you know who you are) who don't contribute anything interesting but feel the need to condescend people.

BTW. the 8800 is coming out next week.

stewie, you're a genius, tell your dad i'm his biggest fan!

17 posts and you feel the need to come in with some rumor and then name call experienced members of this forum. Get off your high horse and quit with the snide comments.

*** Moving to the Rumor Mill ***

that's where this belongs.

Hey I am all about the speculation, and if its true great!

But after I read this it reminded me of that scene at the end of Spaceballs with the you're my cousin's, brother's, aunt's, sister's, roommate bit........I love this thread I havent laughed this hard in a long time!

hey john clark,

firstly i wasn't name calling. neither did i identify anyone specifically. i did respond to some earlier posts from some people (who apparently relish some perceived hierarchy on this site) who were IMHO unnecessarily nasty in their remarks.

this whole website is one, big rumor mill and amalgamation of subjective theory and speculation. that's what makes it great.

if you can't tolerate it, lock it, mighty moderator. move it whereever you like.

believe me i get your point so there is no need to repeatedly rub it in. i am not sure why i am being singled out by you. (maybe because i don't pay you the respect you crave for being whatever it is you think you are?) there are some people who seem to enjoy this thread maybe because it isn't as boring and dull as some other ones.

by the way: the TMO 8800 is coming out next week!!!! ya dig?

Unfortunately, for you, there is a hierarchy here. And rumor mongers with no postings or credibility are at the bottom.

Since you persist in trying to provoke me, let me end by saying this. If the 8800 comes out next week on T-Mobile US, I will be the first to congratulate you. When it does not come out next week, I hope you have the courage to come back here and say "Oops, I was wrong". Please note that this thread turned comical because no one believes you.

Good luck and have a nice weekend. I will be camped out at the kiosk at the mall waiting for my 8800. Oops; already have one. Never mind.

i will absolutely come back and say I was wrong should that be the case. not that i am in any way required to now since this thread was moved to the rumor mill. some of you guys crack me up - you're sooooo serious about your little emailing devices. no humor whatsoever. sad, sad, sad. i gotta tell you: no offense but if you are at the "top", then i think i like it here deep at the "bottom". enjoy that little white button on your 8800 - i am actually not a big fan: the person who worked on the new campaign just got his for free as a present (unlocked and unbranded directly from RIM) and i played with it for a few hours yesterday evening. i am actually relieved that i don't have to spend all that money now-i love my 8700g.

please keep it coming - your comments while not always informative or smart are truly entertaining!

Warmest regards, ruechel

You do like insulting people, don't you! well, I guess New York based photographers have an edge on the rest of us dumb working slobs.

Enjoy!

I've never been told before that I don't have a sense of humor. Well, there's a first time for everything.

Enjoy the bottom. Keep feeding rumors; after all "this whole website is one, big rumor mill and amalgamation of subjective theory and speculation" and you are what is keeping us going

ok. i think this has gone far enough. i am not laughing anymore. i get a feeling that you moderator guys are somewhat upset with me. i truly just meant to bust your chops a little. i apologize if this has turned into something truly negative which is never my intention. anyway, i am done posting on this thread unless, of course it is an apology in case my "theory" doesn't hold water. i will be more mindful of your rules from now on. ( )

i am sure you are a hard working good citizen and that isn't necessarily the norm anywhere. i gotta tell you though; photography is hard work as well and not always the glamourous profession it purports to be.

anyway, i don't mean to digress too much - this is after all, the rumor mill.

Kind regards, ruechel

That's only half correct. It will actually brew it's own german ale and hold a half-keg of it in a form factor just smaller than that of the pearl.

Done!

If anyone would like it unlocked, please PM ruechel to ask us nicely to unlock it.
