Tmobile will not release this device this week... or next.

..in fact, they won't be releasing it at all in March.

My personal rep... I'm not going to mention which CFO at RIM it is, told me they are scrapping the 8xxx name in favor of a 9100 and 9800 that will feature full motion video recording on a 8mp camera, 20gb internal storage, complete voice controlled, even voice-to-text email composing, 2.8Ghz processor and a new type of power supply that will power the blackberry for an average of 3 months before it needs another recharge. It should be out next month.

I heard it will also have 1600 x 1200 display resolution and an optional thought control UI.

daYUM! Sounds almost like the one my TMO rep "couldn't" show me (wink-wink), but i swear to ya it had dual screens!

And RoadRider, I hope the thought control is bi-directional now, my BB has had hold of mine for way too long.

I thought Cingular had the exclusive on this one too. How will T-mobile have the 9800 next month?

Next year RIM will unveil a blackberry with a hologram projection system capable of producing a fully AI girl you can interact with just like the one seen on the movie The Sixth Day

Cingular 8800c - late February 2007; T-Mobile 8xxx - ?

Yeah, I would say there would be a SLIGHT difference in launch windows time lapses. Not much of one. I mean, what's 5 months versus a few weeks, right?

Just got the news in from a T-Mobile rep who wishes to remain anonymous - the 8800 that's coming out on T-Mobile will WIRELESSLY bake you cookies in your own oven. Impressive.

Sweet!

I was told by a rep that it will also act as a universal remote and a beer bottle opener...

My baboon of a father Peter has put on the adult NASA diapers and is camping out at the local T-Mobile store in Quahog. He swears that the 8800 with money generator and time machine add on will be out at precisely 10:23am EST on Monday.

my t mobile rep told me that they signed a deal with directv and it will not only get directv programing, but also be a HD DVR. The best feature he talked about was the ability to look in to the future via the HD screen..
