Wow. The forums are super clean and easy to navigate and read with the new opera beta. Yesterday I gave a horrible review because of the feeds feature lagging, but this is pretty good, a noticeably difference in speed compared to bbrowser.

Wow. I might actually be on here with my BB!

I'm currently running Opera Mini 2.0, do you have to uninstall it to run 3.0 beta?
edit: nevermind...I found the answer...oops.

this beta version may have just sold me on opera again. I had it on my 7100t and prefered it over the bb browser. but when I upgraded to the pearl the bb browser was much improved and I wasn't so thrilled with opera in comparison. well now opera works with the pearl's trackball that I have become so dependent on. I'm not saying it is perfect, but I am pretty well impressed with this version. they are definitely moving in the right direction.

I agree. Opera 2 was next to worthless on the Pearl, but the Opera 3 beta is much improved. I used it most of the day and I like it, I just want to learn the shortcuts. For example, is there a way to select the commands on the bottom bar?

For the sake of balance, I'm running Opera Mini 3.0 on a T-mobile phone and it's working splendidly, no errors or problems. Also, OP is right. It's a very nice, clean browser.

Ive been quite pleased with it so far. The only thing I question is that "ok" is not the trackball default when selecting previous addresses. That tends to be a bit annoying. Otherwise I'm very impressed. Speed seems good and I like how some pages render much better. Good job Opera!

it's not geared specifically for the pearl or any specific phone so unfortunately, no, the trackball isnt the default "ok" button. :( It can be frustrating sometimes.

I wish they would make one specifically for BB phones

For your selections on the bottom bar you just hit the button on the keypad. For example, the qw button will bring up the menu. Well this browser sure does make navigating and using the forum on my pearl a whole heck of a lot easier.

I love version 3 just for the fact that the track ball is the enter button again.
