Default Lost Blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

Hy guys,

someone lost ( or stoled ) one of our Blackberry.
Is there a feature through BES server to disable and lock or to make the stoled device unusuable so the thief canot use it or install it on another BES server ?

yes. You can disable, lock or completely wipe the device making it unusable. You can lock it and replace the standby screen with a message such as "If found please send to this address or call this number"

Also you can contact your provider and they will list the phone as stolen; this will make it impossible for someone to "register" the phone on their account.

I think that depends on who is the provider. If it is Cingular and T-mobile, no.
