I tried upgrade a CAL from my BES5.x to a BES10 CAL.
Everything went fine until the moment arrived to enter the CAL into the BES10 Server.

It refused to accept the CAL, telling me, "you cannot add a (real) license to an evaluation license".

Of course,. this is an evaluation install, 57 days left, but does that mean on day 60 am supposed to enter the CALs at 0:00am ? Or, do I even have to install a new server (with maybe a new SRP?).
There currently is no other BES10 avalible for download then the evaluation version - or did I not look thoroughly enough ?

no, not yet (I have only one real cal, but two devices activated on the BES10)
But you are right, why not remove the 20 Trial licenses. I really dont need my PB urgently to be activated on the BES10.

I had the same issue. I had to remove the trial CAL's in order to get the upgraded CAL from blackberry to take.

Sometimes I am overcautious. In my fantasy, what probably will happen, if I remove the trial CALs:
Installation of the real CAL will be refused, because this is a trial installation. And, readding trial CALs is not possible, becausa they have been already installed once.
Result: I am doomed.

Not, that I have experienced things like this with RIM products, but, in general 1.0 releases tend to have bugs like this.
