Read about the homemade 100 os. on crackberry. I just put it on my 9530 about an hour ago and so far its working out real good. Faster than .99 and has the bigger fonts back.

I tried to upgrade from .99 and desktop manager told me the new "bastardizd" version was a downgrade...... so i didnt do it.

Does it actually run any better?

I just hope RIM does not go back to bigger fonts on the Homescreen in an "official" version. At least, not without an option I can set somewhere to have fonts the same as they are now.

The bigger fonts are only on the small homescreen, right? Why do y'all care about that? Don't you know what the icons are without having to read the names?

I like the regular-sized font because WeatherBug displays current temp/forecast hi/forecast lo as the WB Icon text. With the normal font, I can read all 3 numbers. With the bigger font that was in .90, all the numbers didn't fit and it would end up displaying like this:

63 65/...

(instead of "63 65/45")

It seemed to run faster and was stable, but my battery life was real bad with this one. I just went back to .99
