Default BB7520 and Headset Functionality

This will sound like a stupid question.

I am having difficulty with my BB and my Logitech Mobile Freedom Headset. It is paired and allows me to speak when calls are answered from the BB but the multi-function button does not allow me to answer, mute or end calls from the headset. Is this standard BB7520 implementation?

My question was whether anybody had the Jabra BT250 in use with the BB7520 and if you could answer calls from the headset button or do you have to use the track wheel?

Thanks.

i have the bt250 and it works well with my bb7520. yes you can answer, hang up, and even call the last number dialed all from the headset. once they are paired up, you can almost leave teh bb7520 in the trunk and still answer calls with the bt250.

good luck!

What is the best Bluetooth headset for the 7520? I need to purchase one, but have heard differing opinions. Any feedback would be appreciated.

from everything I have read, it seems to be the BT-250.

Love my HS850 and my Jabra BT200.

The HS850 has GREAT battery life, but the Jabra has better audio quality.

I am investigating an echo problem with the HS850 and may have it solved....... Will let people know more as I find out.

i'm waiting for more user reviews for the BT800 or it looks like i'm gonna go with the BT250

Are there any BT headsets that can provide the direct connect feature on it?

Just got the HS850 for my 7250 and it has echo issues. I can hear clearly, but on the other end their voice echoes. Is there a resolution here or should I return it.

Am returning the HS850 as I only have 7 days to do so. I am going to wait for the BT250V, which has better battery life than the BT250, but will only buy it when it is commercially available and then only if Jabra certifies it works on the 7250.

Default BT200 crash

I have a BT200 which worked well with my old Nokia bluetooth phone. I just tried it with my BB7250 and I also crashed. I tried eliminating any other BT devices as suggested, no luck. Reinstalled the Jabra with no luck. Which BT phones work with the 7250?

new 7520 software due within 2-3 weeks or sooner. Going to fix a lot of the BT issues and echo. It will not be 100%, but much much imnproved.

Echo is actualy to do with iDEN. RIM is working with MOTO and NXTL on a solution. Should be out by late spring.

The echo on my boss' 7250 has nothing to do with iDen, but every Moto headset we've tried with it has echoed. It looks like a lot of people here are having almost the same problem with the 7250 + Moto BT. Does anyone know if there's a fix yet? He loves the way his HS850 feels, but the echo just makes it impossible to use.

I installed the new 7520 software update hoping for some BT improvements.. but got the opposite. My HS850 now sounds worse than it did at 4.0.0.160. The volume on my end is quieter than it was, and it was pretty quiet before. People on the other end say I'm even harder to hear than I was before.

I'm seriously considering downgrading back to what I had before.
