I'm sure this has been discussed, but my searches have not found the answer.

I'm trying to get it so when a user does a lookup on thier BB it will show the Cell Phone # from the system address book in GroupWise.

I have it so in GroupWise address book you look it up and it shows the cell #. But on the BB a lookup just shows email, work #, and PIN.

Any help would be greatly apprecieated.

Your best bet would to probably call T-Support on this one.

Hi!, I Have the same problem, when I try to "lookup" someone, I only get:
Email
Work Phone
Fax
PIN
......fields, and I want to get the "Mobile" or "CellPhone" field.

Did you find an answer?

Ok, I had enough of this rubbish, so I wrote a script to fix it.

This script populates the BES system address book from eDirectory LDAP, putting all the missing info into the BES database. It means a lot more that the mobile number is available via lookup, and now the blackberries can lookup all data for any user in the system. Just like Exchange.

NOTE THIS IS NOT SUPPORTED BY RIM OR NOVELL AND USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Tested on BES 4.1.4 Groupwise, MSDE database.

In reality all it does is execute SQL update commands on the bes database table that contains the system address book. The fields are all there, just empty. This script fills them with the right information.
