Hi im new to this forum and the BB Bold, love the phone however I have a question, when using the SAT NAV every 2 or 3 minites the screen changes back to the home screen and locks.........:mad:
This is very enoying and id like to know how to stop it doing this.
Im used to other phones when using the SAT NAV (and pluged into a car charger) staying on the SAT NAV screen.

Go to options > password. Then change security timeout. Longest is 1 hour, there is no unlimited.

Also if you are on a BES the screen lock may be written to a shorter time period in the policy applied to your device.

There may be a setting in the telemap app to keep the screen on. Telenav and mapquest navigator both had one.
