Default Battery Life

Overall I'm very impressed with the torch; the only vice I have is the battery life. Is everyone else getting about a day with moderate use?

Everyone has their own tricks but I found turning 3g off, disabling social feeds and turning the display brightness down to 30 worked wonders.

I get a day to a day and a half. See the FAQ for an article on maximizing your battery usage.

I have some issues with the torch but battery life has been pretty impressive for lots of talk time. The only time i had a bad day was when i had wifi on without realizing it. I have blue tooth on all day and all night and even with that it holds up pretty well. I have one of those igo portable chargers that I toss into my bag if it runs low at night..gives me an extra full charge. I am on call so i pretty much have to take calls round the clock. During the day i don't surf or do any social network stuff, but TONS of text email and talk time.

Mine lasts about a day and a half.. the only thing I changed was I lowered the brightness to 10.

After reading this post and setting my backlite to 10% I doubled my battery life.

I have had a big problem with mine, sometimes having to charge 2X a day. I have turned off the social feed, turned down the brightness, and turned off 3G and Wifi. Today is the first day of real use that I've had it set like that, and it's still almost half dead already.
