Default Reached 15 user limit

Bes admin 4.1, exchange 2003 on sbs 2003

Is there a way to upgrade bes admin so we can add more users as we have reached the 15 user limit.
I see BlackBerry® Professional Software Express has a 30 user limit,
is this the way to go?
will it upgrade and install over bes admin?
has it the same functions of bes admin?

Or will we have to purchase bes admin 5?

Thanks

Andy

You can upgrade to a full BES 5.0.1 for >$2000, including 5 Additional CALs (there are cheaper offers in the usual places).

You could downgrade to a BPS (not really a downgrade, rather, a new installation if I remember correct) and buy additional CALs.
However BPS it a little step back from SBE - no remote search, no html email, also, the CALs cost some money. I dont know for sure if the current CALs will work with BPS, but they will work when you buy the upgrade to a full BES.
BPS will however sync your mail, calendar etc. like the SBE

If you want to wait, because rumor is, there will be a new SBE/BPS based on V5 in the future, if you have a spare SBE License, install a second Server, and put the users above the Limit of the current server on that one - I have not tried this, dont know, if this is a supported/possible configuration.
Maybe, someone else does know better about this ?

See here about the rumor here:

Or, if you really only want to add one user, maybe try to put some other user who only needs email on BIS.

Thanks nobody7290 for your quick reply. Looks like the upgrade pack may be the answer.

You may be really lucky with your carrier, which I notice is O2, and they get you the upgrade key at a reduced price. For us we started with SBE and our account manager managed to get us the upgrade key for free!

We added 20 new users 3 weeks ago and AT&T still have yet to send the free CALs or BES 5 key. Mean while purchasing believed the sales man and sent out the devices only to find a few have BES data plans. Guess they mucked up that too. So glad I am on vacation and only have WiFi access and no calling card on me.
