I already posted this question but unsuccessfully.
How do I save single text messages, short of saving the whole conversation ?? Cannot believe that RIM did not think about this option.

Have you tried forwarding it as an email to yourself?

I did and it works, but it seems strange you cannot do it from within the conversation. Rather awkward.
