Default Don't want Sent Items confirmation in Inbox

Please Login to Remove!

Using a 7280 with BES 3.6 via mailstreet. When I send email from my BB, a copy of the sent item stays in the Inbox showing it was successfully sent. I also get a copy in my Sent Items folder. I really don't need to confirmation in my Inbox, can I turn it off?

Thats not actually your inbox, its your message list and as such includes sent items and other folders together with your inbox, you can delete those sent items, but not lose them otherwise.

I'm not so sure about that -- under certain circumstances, I believe that deleting those items actually deletes them from your Sent Items folder...at least that used to happen with BWC with wireless reconcilliation avtivated...

With myblackberry.us, if I delete anything I sent on the BB, it deletes from the mbb's webclient as well.

This is true...you have to delete them from the DEVICE only.

Oops, poor phrasing by me, I meant there was no way to lose them from your message list otherwise.

>>"mbb's webclient"

Just to clear possible confusion, that's the Outlook Web Access client for your BES-enhanced Exchange Inbox .... not the Blackberry Web Client.

You can have it NOT appear in your message list by going to your message list and doing this:

ALT-i: show only incoming mail

Thats true, but is only a temporary thing, you can't make it stay in that mode permanently.
