Default SMS from 904

Please Login to Remove!

I just received a text message on my 7230 (T-Mobile). The sender was identified only as "904". The body of the message reads "OTA OK". I also use the Mailstreet hosted BES service.

Anyone have any idea what this might be?

TIA,
Ian

To be honest, I haven't a clue, 904 isn't showing up in my t-mobile databases nor showing up in a google search, all I get is 904 for jacksonville florida area code.

OK...so according to this thread (and others) this is a message that the carrier sends out regarding some sort of SIM card over the air upgrade...

How extremely odd...

That is odd, I was unaware a sim could be "updated" ota. Maybe it's some sort of conspiracy to find out how many people use a cell phone, then they tell aliens and then...........

Oh nevermind. Seriously though, I didn't know sims could be updated without replacement, let alone ota. How interesting
