Default Think Outside Bluetooth keyboard mutes phone mic

Please Login to Remove!

I have a user at my firm with a 7100t Blackberry who got a Bluetooth keyboard.
We got it to work after setting the event injector API permission to "allow"
The keyboard works great, but when he makes calls, the mic on the 7100t stopped working.
I tested it on another 7100t and it had the same problem, so a device issue is ruled out.
The wired earpiece/mic works fine, but it's not the best workaround.
Anyone have a similar experience or any ideas?
Thanks!
Andreas

Are you connected to BES? I looked at the ThinkOutside site and they even mentions that BES IT Policies can block the driver installation. Also they mention that the BES admin may need to make changes to the policy to allow for third party Event Injections. Was this done (if on BES).

Have you tried the keyboard driver available from MyMobileGear? It has been reported that it works better than what you get with the keyboard you have.

Yes, I changed the IT policy to allow event injection (I'm the BES admin at my firm)
No I have not tried that driver, but I'll give it a shot as soon as I can and I'll post the results.
