Hello all, newbie here. Just got my 8700 yesterday and so far I'm very impressed. The last Blackberry I had was the 72xx and didn't really like it. I've been a pretty die hard Pocket PC guy and even was on a Treo for awhile (great device). Anyway, sorry for the rant... back to my post.

Has anyone else noticed that when you try to download wallpaper or ringtones Cingular's site says that they don't support black and white (for wallpaper) or OS 3.7 or lower (for ringtones)? I'm guessing they just haven't updated their website yet?

I just tried it and I too encounter the same problem.

Looks like Blackberry's Extras site is now recognizing the 8700 and you can download ringtones and wallpaper. Haven't tried themes yet

"Themes" just says "Coming Soon".

Go to Options -> Theme, then scrollwheel click to Download Themes.

If you use the new browser that just appeared a few days ago vs. the cingular one that came with it, you will be able to download wallpaper and games.

On my 8700, Downlaod themes will only get you "Comming Soon"

Yes, that's what was said earlier. Then someone asked for what URL got this message, that's what prompted the above procedure.
