I have been told (officially) that traffic is going at about 80% of normal levels. They are preparing a root cause statement, but will not say before it is ready (which is a good idea).

For the people on hold... Pay for TX4 or TX5 support, wait on hold for 10 seconds.

It is all north america. All my PIN-PIN and SMS messages have gone through fine.

The best thing you can do right now is hide under your desk from your co-workers who are starting to go into withdrawls. Once RIM is back up, your servers will auto reconnect.

I concur-we notified our user base of the interruption and they weren't too pleased to hear this especially the one's that are out of town on business.

I already have 265000 pending messages on the various BES's. (7000+ BES users)

ugg, this may take a while to clear.

Boston MA:

we went down at about 3:45pm. It sputtered for a bit, and has been down hard since.

PIN to PIN device to device seems to be working, however PIN from BES Manager does not work for me.

how do i check the status of the SRP connection? (i know it is a noob question)
Check the Application Event Log on your BES server(s)

Also, there is a srp connection tool called bbsrptest.exe in the Utility folder where your BES is installed.
