Default BES 4, 2 exchange servers and a meeting request

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I'm new to Blackberry and have reached the end of my tether..

I am in the process of migrating my Exchange 2003 Server to a shiny new Exchange 2003 Server (On Server 2003 Sp2) so i'm running two side by side in the same admin group.

For reasons unknown to me BES does not deliver meeting requests to all but one user on the new server. It does however deliver the reminders and update the calendar.

One user (whos’ AD account is no different to the other technical accounts) gets the original requests fine.

BES is up to the latest service pack, exchange is service packed, CDO? I’ve been through countless articles and fixes..

Any thoughts on this greatly appreciated as my migration has stopped till i can get it working..

Many thanks in advance.

Martin.

Sounds like a permissions issue to me! I would verify all permissions (although im sure everyone has already beat you over the head with "Send As" stuff).

are any of these users in privileged groups (domain admin / etc)?

are they all in the same store? same OU in ad? Does anything else not get delivered?

Hi,

Thanks for the responses so far, to answer the questions:

Permissions - i think i've checked just about every permission there is to check 3 times

All of the users on the new server are in a "technical" OU and most, if not all, are domain admins. The one user that it does work for does not have anything special about his AD acc as all technical staff are created from a technical template acc as far as permissions and membership goes. All acounts on the new server is in the same store, and new server is a member and the old the master.

What I am struggling to understand is why users are recieving the reminders for the meetings ok but not the initial request? Surely if the reminder is gettign delivered then the permissions etc must be ok an if one user is recieving the initial requests then the config of the servers must be correct?...

Sorted now, Logvin was right after all and it was permissions.
Very slow replication on the network here has meant changes i made yesterday are only now kicking in.

thanks for your help guys!
