6.0 seems to be very promising from what I could take out of the video....

It has reminiscences of android and palm os.... I hope it has a solid UI.

I love the current music player for it simplicity... I hope the dont screw that up... also I hope the same sort of multitasking jumping feature that currently exist, as it is very fast to switch from one to another... (Palm multitask cards look good but it takes a long time to switch from one open app in one end to the other... as you cannot swipe all at once, you have to go one by one.)

Thanks for posting, that gives a way better idea than just photos.

Looks interesting, I'd like to see OS 6.0. Looks like it has a touch screen focus though.

I think OS6 was meant for storm for the most part.. considering it's the only touch bb and the video clearly shows them touching it..

Looks nice based on the video. I think that the bold 9000, bold 9700, storm 1, storm 2, tour... and any future device will have os 6.0.

Wonder how many new features they are adding, compared to simply new UI improvements...

I wouldn't go as far as to call it iPhone like just yet.

What makes you see it as iPhone like?

I wonder if the older hardware processor speeds will be able to handle 6.0 in as snappy a way as the iphone experience. Don't get me wrong, i am not an iphone fanboy, blackberry to the bone, but i do have to admit that when playing with peoples iphone the snappiness of the slides, opening of apps, etc is very well done.

Having had storm I and II (since 6.0 is certainly geared toward touch screen) I just wonder about smoothness. The marketing video obviously shows smooth instant flow of the OS, it will be interesting for all of us to run it through our daily uses to see how it fairs.

Hey Raptor nice to hear from you.

Can you give some more details? In what device are you using it? Any improvement besides GUI?
I know people will be demanding too many questions now that you said that.... So pretty please?

I highly doubt it will run on anything older then the 9700 or Storm 2

Personally here at the Cleverkit™ we thought the advert was a little on the cheesy side. However, it at least demonstated their intent to improve the styling of the operating system and move in the direction of the Apple iPhone which is such a huge success.

Some other key features are:

* Customisable home screens
* Touchscreen
* Multitouch - pinch to zoom
* Trackball devices
* Updated UI
* Universal search
* New app to draw RSS and social media feeds

We really hope that it lives up to expectations when it is released in July.

July?? I don't think it will be released as soon as !3 starts.

Maybe some horrible leaks late July.
