Agree with Rudysan. There was an option in the menu to "View History" which is very convenient... this option is now gone. Wonder why.

Default Fatal/Unexpected error reading boot ROM

I have been able to update my software without any issues (current version 4.6.0.297) until this time when I try to update to the 4.6.0.301 version. It could not read the boot ROM, so I performed a resettofactory through JL Commander. Apploader still returns an error at the boot ROM section. Any thoughts?

go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader

and from the there, make sure you delete the file vendor.xml, and then run the file Loader.exe

This will direct load

This new .301 build seemed slower than either .282 or .297 to me...and thumbnail pics from my memory card load snail slow, if they even load at all.

Since AT&T decided to yank the .297 build (thankfully, since reception and call quality was horrible)...I went back to .282, and all is right with the world again.

yes you have worked out that is the package number and not the OS number.

Works great here. Improved battery time, and solved my longest standing issue of contact syncing with my car (see in Bluetooth section).

Has anyone ever had problems with the "Left Side Convenience Key" not working with this OS? I just noticed that it stopped worked today and I'm on hold with AT&T right now and I believe they are getting ready to ship me a new phone since my warranty is up 11/9/2009 lol
