have you guys experienced this?

I have had the BSE on for 4-5 months and in many areas now, it has a brown shade to it. Over the screen and on the side and over the Cingular logo. It looked great the first few months. I am thikning of pealing it off!

btw, i have the oem blackberry hostler/jacket pouch thing which adds more protection...

I had this happen with my BSE as well. I just sent them an email and they sent me a brand new one. The pigmentation in the holster does it.

They're a GREAT company.

As the other Member said, the coloring in your holster is causing the color change.

I have used the Seidio rubberized [plastic] case on mine since October 2006 and the BSE skin is as clear as the day I put it on.

Both BSE and ShieldZone skins can suffer discoloration because the skin is porous, meaning the skins can absorb oils, pigments, and dirt.

ShieldZone's warranty does not cover discoloration and I am surprised that BSE sent the Member a new skin.

That sounds to me like luck of the draw with the Customer Service Rep. With my luck, if I called making that kind of claim, the Rep would tell me to take a hike.

I have a cheap clear plastic Pearl case which works great with the BSE. NO leather for me.
