Just loading it onto my bold
Hoping for battery improvements (at the moment easily stays up for 2 days with normal usage - on one of previous firmwares lasted only for about 10 hours without any usage)

Exactly. The beta version out was ALL languages, this ATT release is MultiLanguage, a few less than all.

@tamazoid, I have this version on my Rogers Bold.

Loaded it this morning without any issues. I have not noticed any changes or improvements at this time. I have a Rogers Bold on ATT's network with ATT sim card

Does anyone know if the builds are optimized for different networks? AT&T must have tweaked their build for network settings, handovers, reception, etc...

I can't even d/load. It always stops @ 10% d/load or so... soo frustrating...

AT&T has an East Asia version for the .167 too. It's up on the site. D/loading for the 10th time now... sigh...

Ok, I've just loaded it onto my Rogers Bold... I haven't noticed any improvements at all over .162... I'm actually prefer .162 cause now I can't log into a local forum on my BB Browser... The space for typing in the username and password is missing. It did the same thing I have to use Opera Mini for that now... I think I might just try and downgrade...

Nevermind... It show up if I display the page in Column View.

Also, I'm just curious. Is it easy or possible to downgrade anyways? Thanks!

Very easy to downgrade. Download .162 or .166 whichever - then uninstall .167 and install the other version. Plug in, and it'll prompt to downgrade.

I'm downgrading back to .162 now. I've noticed the radio doesn't hang onto a signal, 3G or otherwise, as well as .162 did. Seems like the battery is not quite as good either. Just my $.02.

Correct RIM does create the build. However, all carriers have their own Dev team, and may tweak or fix certain things at their discretion.

.162 was better for all of us. BBMessenger isn't as responsive to show someone is typing, is delivering messages out of order and often showing the people are away.

Other than that cannot find one other change between .167 and .162

Guys, I installed the Beta version of 0.167 awhile back, although this was just released by AT&T, when I go to install, The Desktop manager lists the main operation systems as a DOWNGRADE, just an FYI, appears the BETA has newer code

I just downgrade to .162 again, since .167 is consuming more batere than OS before
