just the other day or so my bold stopped connecting to my wifi, it detcects the connection of my router says it is connected, but it's not clearly, the wifi box at the top right is greyed out, my router is set up to WPA and and if i remember correctly you set your BB to PRK (pre shared key) to actually connect, ive done this, but why isn't it connecting? i see no problem, i went on my router settings, the device is on with it's MAC address put in correctly. i can connect to my friends wifi but for some reason not mine, please help guys! (A)

did you try to reset your router? sometimes its just some silly bug.
Sometimes in my home, for no reason my wife cant connect her laptop and Iphone to the router, I mean, it connects but she get no internet on them, same time I have my BB and PC connected and working fine. A soft reset always sort it for me.

Is WiFi checked under "Manage Connections"?

Do you have the WiFi service book?

Try a battery pull and resend service books.

And you might try searching as this has been very common lately.

I've tried turning my router of and on, sadly no luck there, my wifi is checked, but i dont know what this service book is? aha, that very well might be the problem, but i dont know what they/it is. also so i have a netgear DG2000 if that helps (router), just incase theres anything that is wrong with that, as ive seen some threads and they do seem to be netgear.

I am having the exact same proble, but for a curve 8520!The wifi just stopped working on monday.

I found that if you turn off the mobile network and then put the wifi on, it comes back on sometimes.

I'm not sure if it works on other blackberrys.

BIS over WiFi has been down in the EU and Middle East for a couple days, for some a bit longer, but from what I have read RIM is aware of the issue, working on it and some have had theirs return working... most not so lucky.

No BIS Via wifi here on O2 UK since Monday. I do not get 3G service at home and 2g is shockingly bad so throughout this outage in the evening's I am without a working BB.

O2 aren't very helpful, and RIM is being very quiet. I do hope it is sorted soon.
