Default Berry411 and WhitePages

I know I've gotten this to work before but I can't remember how. I've searched but can't find it either....how do you get WhitePages to work on Berry411? What syntax do you use in the search line? Thanks!

I have diffulty with white pages search also in Berry411, usually returns no items found. I get better results with the google option in Berry411. I'd be interested in help with the white pages also.

What is an example of a problem with it? I've only used it a few times, searching on a last name, and no trouble.

I simply type Smith, click the wheel and select White Pages. It comes back saying:
"Your search - Smith,, - did not match any documents."
I'm wondering if it has something to do with the commas. I'm thinking there must be a certain way you have to enter the name or something??

Obviously you would expect a result on a common name like Smith. I can't explain why it isn't working for you. If I search on a last name that is not unlisted, I get a result. Wish I had an idea for you to try.

I'm not typing a comma. I simply type "smith" (without quotes) and click the wheel and select White Pages. I get back: "Your search - Smith,, - did not match any documents." (notice how B411 puts the comma's behind the name and capitalizes "Smith"). Its like the browser is adding comma's behind the scenes or something. Very strange. If I type "smith, john" (again, without quotes) I get: "Your search - Smith, john,, - did not match any documents." Once again, notice the 2 commas behind "john". I'm confused.

Ah, you currently have to specify your address with a city and state (rather than zip) for white pages to work. Will see about fixing this but in the meanwhile that's the workaround.

YEP! That's it!! Thanks Phil! I had the zip in my Home and Work rather than the actual City, State. I changed that and now White Pages works!!

Does the Berry411 work in Ontario Canada as well or is this still a US thing?
