Hi.

I have a 7290 coming tomorrow. I had a Nokia e62 for about a month but it is having annoying episodes of hiccups. Now I have read that the 7290 has its own problems. Do you know, as of this writing, whether there is another firmware update? (Nokia stopped providing updates for the e62 due to users' repeated unlocking of the Cingular-branded devices.)

It was Blackberry-enabled, so that was a nice perk.

Is there anything I need to know to make a transition from the Blackberry-enabled device to a 7290? Does the e-mail work about the same? I have all the accounts set up at the Blackberry site (four, in fact).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All you need to do is change the PIN and IMEI at the BB site to the new BB's info.

There aren't going to be any more OS updates for the 7290. The latest is 4.1 and you can find the exact 4.1 version here:
