So i installed BES on a dedicated server after having issues with it running on a domain controller. Installation of the software was flawless, but the activations of the blackberry (8700 or 8800 not sure) all get stuck at random intervals. One got to 57%, one to 40%, and one to 47%.

Here is what i've tried -

- I've gone in to the pim sync settings for each user and disabled everything in an attempt to get around a possible problem. No success (although i did advance 2-4% for each user).

- Performed hand held wipes, still no success.

I remember having a problem similar to this the first time i tried to activate the blackberry's on the domain controller but i can't quite remember what i did. Maybe i delete the service books and tried again? I'm not sure.

So does anyone have any suggestions? Should i be trying to synchronise with the desktops via a cable? Are there any other tips or tricks to try? How can i look through the log files to try and determine the problem?

This is going to sound EXTREMELY lame but I've had exactly the same issue before which was remedied by a simple reboot of the box the BES was running on. I don't for a minute suppose you've not tried that yet, but if you haven't, it might be worth a try.
