Well, if you can't do OTA, YouVersion will probably not work for you --even if you successfully install it. This software never stores bible text locally. That's how it gets around the copyright issue with using the NIV. You're just downloading the chapter you're reading --only one chapter at a time. Any other bible software on your phone (software where the entire text is stored on your phone) will cost at least $30 just to manage to make a tiny profit and still pay the rights to use the NIV translation legally. YouVersion absolutely must be on a phone with a data plan (or WiFi) to operate...

It's a good and light program, especially when you are referred to the Book and Chapter. The only complain is the search function. It's not accurate enough. Maybe I'm too used to Google, so my expectations of searching is high
