Proud BlackBerry 7520 user, good to meet all of you. I know there's a huge BlackBerry community on the net, but this one seems to be the most organized and the most helpful. Upgraded my software to 4.1 today, and I'm looking to pimp my BB out (as it were) to the max (especially since RIM and NTP settled).

So yeah. Good to meet you guys.

"what the deal is" is a variant of "what the deelio?"

The translation for " what the deelio?" is as follows, derived from the following source: http://www.urbandictionary.com/defin...hat+the+deelio

Translation:

1. what the deelio === ====

- Similar to whats up or whats really good. Meaning whats goining on or whats poppin-

(Yo Crush, whut da deelio!!!!!)

Thumbs up Greetings from Australia!

Have a new 8700, never used a BB before and it's very impressive.
Takes a while to get used to the icons, scrool wheel etc, but it's quick, with a great screen.
Not sure what the 'Wireless' function is. Do I need it turned on or off?
Does it have anything to do with wireless hot spots?
As newcomer, a more detailed manual would be helpful.

1. On. Turning wireless off turns off the radio, which turns your device into a simple PDA.
2. No.
