We use Exchange 2010 Sp2 ru4 and BES 5.0.3.31 version.

I am not clear about the difference between Associated BlackBerry Enterprise Server and Blackberry server instance?

Associated bb server in component info tab- shows the actual server

What does the BB server instance in "User info" tab actually indicate?

The "Component info" tab shows our production server, the tab "User info" shows the server instance. I'd like to know diference between these two.

Pls note, our BES servers are hosted on MS 0365 Cloud, and they aint on-premise---Ramu

you would need to call O265 but it is a hosted instance you are sharing with others.

the main BES you dont get access to but only the domain access you are entitled to access

ok, so ur saying that we only have access to the server instance, but not the server itself(since many others may be hosted there)

What exactly is difference betwenn actual server and server instance, here? pls advice

actual server runs all the instances and you only access your instance and not any others

just like webmail, you can access you own but not the actual server
