Thursday at 4pm?! Dont you know that the mandatory "Downtime after WES Visit to Disney For Dinner?" Well it was last year. Watched the fireworks at Epcot sitting on the steps of the Canadian pavillion. Happy times.

The best place to watch the fireworks is not necessarily in the parks itself. I think it's the Contemporary that has a nice bar/restaurant at the top and there is a patio outside that has a great view of Epcot and the fireworks. But then again, I rarely go to that side of town to watch the fireworks.

C'mon man, you live there! It's an everyday event for you. Some of us only get to Orlando once a year and want to experience it from inside the park. But you are right, the Contemporary does have a spectacular view of the parks; day or night.

Which fireworks ... the restaurant you're mentioning is the California Grill ...

The best place to watch Epcot fireworks is either:

1) in a boat in the lake
or
2) Next to the water at the Mexico pavillion ... smoke tends to blow towards the UK side of the worlds showcase.

Canada?!?!?!? You mean the poorest represented country in the entire Worlds Showcase?

Do it right, go to Germany or Japan if you're gonna be on that side ... or the US. Can't go wrong with apple pie and chicken.

Oh Canada... home of maple syrup, totem poles and hockey.
They've apologized profusely for Bryan Adams and Celine Dion. We were just trying to show support for our northern neighbors. Besides, there was a Canadian beer cart right beside where we were sitting. (Not that I was drinking.)

If I'm in Epcot, I always like sitting near the lake to watch the fireworks, but then again...I rarely go to Disney. My favorite view of Disney is always flying overhead in a Cessna 172.
