Default Adding Contacts & address book from old phones Access DB, Excel or CSV? Ideas?

Please Login to Remove!

I have an old (well not that old) phone that has this software by which you can interface with it via IR and manage the contacts, sms, wall papers, ringtones etc.

The application uses an Access DB as a store for everything. So I can open that and use it directly or copy into Excel or other related formats such as CSV.

What would be the easiest and best way that you can think of to add these contacts into the blackberry 7100t. Please tell me as :

- I bought it off ebay
- Have no manuals or support from provider
- Currently would want to be able to
1. Transfer my old phone contacts into it & maybe modify /add to some of them using a soft interface from windows.
2. Synch (low priority compared to 1) with Outlook (mostly calendar then contacts) down the line via connection with laptop - through cable or through Bluetooth
3. If my company or myself, I am able to get a Black berry / Tmobile Data plan then maybe have the full email capability. [This probably does not need an answer now].

ps: I was able to install the themes. Great work.

wow! isnt everyone here a helpful bunch.

Is it possible to add, edit and backup contacts into BB 7100t through the PC software without having any data plan from TSP (Tmobile / Cingular?) or Enterprise BB Server / Account ?

There is no soft interface from Windows.

The "Desktop Manager" software includes Intellisync, which can load/sync contacts, notes, tasks and calendar from a variety of PIMs. If you don't have that, it is available from the blackberry.com web site for download.

Probably the easiest way is to get your data into Outlook first, then sync the BB using Intellisync.
